From Sketches to Paintings

I thought it would be fun to share a few concept sketches
along side the finished paintings.

This first piece is a quick sketch, with a little note about color on the side.

The original painting is titled
"Hurry Up"



The next two sketches were done separately and later put together to create the finished painting seen below.

The Original Painting is titled
"I've got a bad feeling about this"

Both of these pieces belong to the Original Series by Mike Best
Titled "Robots of the Apocalypse"
In which a select few robots are helping a little girl survive
a world destroyed by malfunctioning robots.
